Introduction
The Bosch Digital Twin – IAPM is an AI-powered Integrated Asset Performance Management System built based on natural intelligence and first principles. Challenges
Like any effective data solution, high-quality data is crucial to the success. The Bosch Digital Twin requires high-speed, high-fidelity IO-Link sensors with data rates up to 24kHz. There are over a dozen sensor types that need to be automatically detected and configured for each installation across thousands of locations. In addition, each end customer requires customizable data workflows and isolated, encrypted communication channels. Bosch partners with Prescient to deliver this critical data infrastructure.
Solution
Prescient delivers a solution to automatically detect and configure IO-Link sensors, IO-Link masters, and edge gateways. In this solution, any sensor can be plugged into any IO-Link master port, and the solution automatically recognizes the sensor, sets up the IODD file, and downloads the corresponding data workflow to the edge gateway. In addition, each end customer is given their own isolated, secure communication channel and data workflow editor. Despite the complexity of this solution, Prescient was able to deliver the solution and enable Bosch to deliver to its customers within one month.
